What the app collects
Nothing. Prank Soundboard has no sign-up, no login and no user profile. It does not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos, microphone input, advertising ID, or any other personal or device identifier. There is no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK and no social login.
What is stored on your device
The app keeps a few things in its own private storage so it can work between launches. None of it leaves your phone, and none of it is readable by other apps:
- Which sounds you marked as favourites, and the category you last viewed.
- Your sound-catalog server address, if you change it from the default.
- Sound files downloaded from the catalog, plus the catalog listing itself, so the board works offline.
Uninstalling the app, or using Settings → Apps → Prank Soundboard → Storage → Clear data, removes all of it permanently. There is nothing stored anywhere else to delete.
Permissions and why they exist

INTERNETandACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— used only to download new sound packs from the catalog server. No other network traffic is sent. -
VIBRATE— short haptic feedback when you trigger a sound. - Accelerometer (no Android permission required) — powers the optional shake-to-play feature. Motion readings are used in the moment to detect a shake and are never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
The app does not request microphone, camera, location, contacts, storage or phone permissions.
Network requests
When you sync the sound catalog, the app makes an ordinary HTTPS request to the catalog server (by default a server on nareshbasude.in). As with any web request, that server's logs record the request's IP address, timestamp and the file requested. These logs are used only to keep the service running and to prevent abuse — they are not linked to any identity, not used for advertising, and not sold or shared.
You can point the app at your own catalog server from the in-app server settings, in which case requests go there instead and this policy's network section no longer applies.
Children
Prank Soundboard is a novelty sound app intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and because it collects no personal information at all, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.
Sharing and selling data
No data is collected, so there is nothing to share or sell. No data is transferred to third parties, advertisers or data brokers under any circumstance.
Google Play Data Safety
This app's Data Safety declaration on Google Play states: no data collected and no data shared with third parties. If that ever changes, this page and the Play listing will be updated before the change ships.
Your rights (GDPR / India DPDP Act 2023)
You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since this app holds none, there is nothing to produce or erase — but if you believe otherwise, email nareshbasude9@gmail.com with the subject "Prank Soundboard privacy request" and I'll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this same URL with a new "last updated" date below. Material changes will also be noted in the app's Play Store release notes.
