Science Diagram: Learn to Draw (com.nareshb.diagrampractice) · Effective 11 October 2026
Science Diagram teaches you to draw school science diagrams step by step, and lets you view, quiz yourself on and label each one. Every diagram, picture and font is built into the app, so it works with no connection at all.
One thing: a count of screens opened. When you open a screen, the app sends a short message saying which one — for example "the heart diagram, Learn to draw". Along with it, standard web information is seen by our server: the type of device and browser engine, the language setting, and the IP address the request came from.
We use that to see which diagrams students actually use, so we know which ones to add next.
To a server we run ourselves at nareshbasude.in, using Umami, open-source analytics that we host. The information is not sold, not shared with any third party, and not given to any advertising or analytics company. Umami sets no cookie and keeps no persistent identifier: visits are grouped using a one-way hash that changes every day, so one day's activity cannot be linked to the next.
The app declares one Android permission, INTERNET, and uses it only for the
counting described above. The app refuses every other address: the only ones it
is allowed to contact are its own built-in files and
https://nareshbasude.in/stats/. Everything else is blocked in code.
If you are offline the counting silently fails and the app behaves exactly the same. Nothing is queued or sent later.
INTERNET, and nothing else. No storage, location, camera, microphone, contacts or phone permission is requested.
Which lessons you have done and your best quiz and labelling scores are kept in the app's own private storage on your phone. They are never uploaded. Other apps cannot read them, and we have no access to them and no copy.
Because progress lives inside the app's private storage, uninstalling the app permanently erases it.
The counts are not linked to you, your device or any identifier, so there is nothing we could look up and delete on request. If you would rather not be counted at all, turn off your connection while using the app — everything in it works offline.
The app is aimed at school students aged 13 and over. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Science Diagram is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to CBSE, NCERT, any state education board, any school, or any government body. It does not issue or validate any certificate or result.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new effective date. The version before this one, effective 22 September 2026, described the app when it had no internet permission at all.
