Best first stop, especially with Jio's free 18-month AI Pro
Details
Best for10-second trend clips with sound and dialogue · Turning a photo into a moving clip · Joining clips into a short story or ad in Flow
Free planNo video in the Gemini app on the free plan: Gemini's help page marks video generation as 'not available' without a Google AI plan. Google runs short trials now and then (for example 10 free videos from 30 Jul to 4 Aug 2026, per a blog report). Google Flow's help page says everyone gets 50 free credits a day, with or without a plan (Flow is 18+): about 2 Veo 3.1 Fast clips (20 credits each) or a few Omni Flash clips (7 to 15 credits each at 720p). Unused credits don't roll over, and free users may not be able to make videos at peak time (about 7:30 to 10:30 pm IST).
Paid planGoogle AI Plus ₹399/month (Omni Flash video plus 200 Flow credits a month). Google AI Pro ₹1,950/month (1,000 Flow credits a month). At its India launch in Dec 2025, AI Plus cost ₹199/month for the first 6 months for new users; the current plans page does not show that offer.
IndiaBiggest India hack: Jio users aged 18+ on an unlimited 5G plan of ₹349 or more can claim Google AI Pro free for 18 months (Jio values it at ₹35,100) in the MyJio app, and it includes AI video generation. The Jio plan must stay active the whole time. Indian college students aged 18+ can get 1 year of AI Plus free, with Omni video, if they redeem by 31 Dec 2026; it then renews at ₹399/month unless cancelled. The Gemini app works in Hindi, but Google does not say how well Omni speaks Hindi dialogue, so test it first. Every clip carries Google's invisible SynthID AI watermark.

IndiaNo. 10 in Photo & Video on the Indian App Store, with 1.5M ratings. InShot says auto captions work in 'multiple languages', but Hindi is not confirmed: a June 2025 Gadgets To Use review said Hindi was not supported and auto captions were Pro-only, and we could not check the current app. The iPhone app's menu languages don't include Hindi.

Most generous daily free credits; great for character clips
Details
Best forPhoto-to-video of characters (talking fruit and vegetable style) · Realistic motion and action shots · Extending a clip up to about 3 minutes
Free planFree plan with daily login credits that expire after 24 hours. Guides say 66 credits a day, but Kling's own pages don't publish the number. That is about two 5-second 720p Kling 3.0 clips a day. Free videos are watermarked and can't be used commercially.
Paid planStandard plan with 660 credits a month. Kling's own guide lists it at $6.99/month, which reviewers say is the first-month price (it then renews at about $8.80 to $10). The App Store India listing shows Standard at ₹999/month, plus weekly passes from ₹49.
IndiaAvailable on the Indian Play Store and App Store. Kling 3.0's built-in speech covers Chinese, English (including an Indian accent), Japanese, Korean and Spanish, not Hindi, and the app has no Hindi menus, so add your own Hindi voiceover in an editor. App Store India reviews complain about paid credits disappearing or not being added, so buy a small pack first.
